About the event

Some addictions are visible to the world but there are plenty of covert and hidden ways that addiction plays into our lives too. Addiction to patterns of thinking, addicitions to social media (hello checking your social media every 30 seconds!), addicitons to food, sex, shopping...

Because addicitons are so deeply rooted within us and usually caused by a combinations of factors, Jessica and Stephanie will be holding special events every 4th Friday (the last Friday of every month) at Ascension Wellness to offer self-care tools that can help.

JOIN US for a KUNDALINI YOGA class with Stephanie where you will experience the many benefits of this amazing practice and where Jessica will be offering 2 REIKI ENERGY HEALING sessions before class as well as using this incredible healing energy on you during class!

*DONATION BASED PRICING*

*RSVP TO ATTEND - EMAIL ASCENSIONWELLNESSNY@GMAIL.COM TO RESERVE 1 OF 2 REIKI SESSIONS*

What does Kundalini Yoga do?

Its purpose is to activate your Kundalini energy, or shakti. This is a spiritual energy that's said to be located at the base of your spine. As Kundalini yoga awakens this energy, it's supposed to enhance your awareness and help you move past your ego. Sometimes, the practice is also called “yoga of awareness.”

What is Reiki and how does it work?

Reiki is an ancient technique used for stress reduction and relaxation and has been shown to have several benefits for both physical and mental health. It is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that involves the practitioner gently placing their hands on or near the body.
